It has been a good year for my homie and League representer, Tona. He dropped his acclaimed album, Direct Deposit with Lyve. He has been getting a lot of love and wants to keep it going into the new year with a “new/old” joint that didn’t make the cut for Direct Deposit. Keep Talking featuring hip hop group, Tanya Morgan, who have also been having a great year. Listen to Keep Talking and download the DJ Pack below which includes the dirty and clean version and the instrumental. If case you forgot how sick Tona was, Check out Major, Fast Pace and Dial Tone.

Tona “No More” featuring Adam Bomb

It’s been a while since I have shared any new music from my homie, Tona.  He hit me last week with a new track called No More featuring Adam Bomb, produced by Rich Kid.  Be on the lookout for more Tona soon.  I know he has been working hard and staying busy so stay tuned.

Tona “I Got U” Featuring Lokz and Rich Kidd

I got blessed with new music from The League of OG’s Canadian cohort, Tona.  He sent me his new joint, I Got U featuring Lokz and Rich Kidd.  I Got U is a tribute to his city, Toronto, despite all of it’s problems.  I think everyone can relate.  I know I struggle with both of my homes, Topeka and Chicago having similar problems but home is home.  Be on the lookout for more music from Tona and another collab with yours truly.

Today is another big day for me as I drop the 2nd remix from Sunday Drive featuring The League of Ordinary Gentlemen.  This time, Tona and Adullessence join me on the remix for the Tribe remake, Sucka MCs.  Both The Get Up Remix and Sucka MCs are important songs for me because they are the first songs that I have released featuring a crew of cats that I work with and know on a personal basis.  It is also important for my hometown to show how far the music has reached and the quality of people that I have been blessed to work with and know.  Everyone knows that Adullessence and I have been working together since 06, so it is also important for me to get Les, Add-2 and Tona on the same songs as well.  I hope everyone enjoys the Sucka MCs Remix and stays tuned for the Itunes version of Sunday Drive.  I have put it on Tunecore and it said Sunday Drive will go live by November 8th.  I thought that I could pick the date but apparently not.  Oh well.  Also, in two weeks, I am releasing the video for Sucka MCs directed by Tori Boyd with a cameo from Phys Ed and Tori.  I look forward to hearing everyone’s feedback.

Tona and Lyve present Fast Pace featuring T.R.A.C.K.S and Saukrates

Fast Pace

Happy Friday.  It’s a beautiful day in Mr. Roger’s neighborhood, in fact it’s a particularly special day for The League of Ordinary Gentlemen.  The League’s Canadian emcee, Tona, has dropped another video from his album, Direct Deposit with producer Lyve.  The song is called Face Pace and it features Saukrates and T.R.A.C.K.S.  and of course Lyve on the beat.  Tona and Lyve have been dropping nothing but straight heat with Direct Deposit.  If you haven’t already picked up the album, do it now.  It’s available on Itunes and Amazon.  For those of you unfamiliar with Saukrates, he is a Canadian hip hop legend.   He is down with Choclair and of course Kardinal.  He was recently featured on the hook for Redman and Method Man’s single Ayo and has been down with both those cats for a while.  Also, if you watch Nelly Furtado’s Get Loose tour with will see Big Sox.  It comes on one of the comcast music video channels all the time.  Once again, if you haven’t already picked up Direct Deposit from Tona and Lyve, do it now.  Without further ado, here is the brand new video from Tona and Lyve, Fast Pace featuring T.R.A.C.K.S. and Saukrates.

BTW, I am glad I don’t spell my name in all caps with a period between each letter.  That shit would get old VERY quickly.

Murder in the First (The League of OG’s Edition)

Yesterday(shamelessly), I had to let my video for New World be the only post because well, I just had too.  Today however, I have two very special songs from two MCs from the League of Ordinary Gentlemen.  On Monday, the homies Add-2 and Tona, both dropped new songs that hit the net running.  First my man Tona released the Lyve Remix to his single Major.  I heard the song about a week ago but it started popping up on different sites this week.  If you haven’t heard any of Tona’s music, I strongly urge you to do so because dude is really dope.  Check out Tona’s joint, Major(Lyve Remix).  Shout out to Lyve as well.  Dude is incredible for real and make sure you go buy their album Direct Deposit out now.

Tona Major(Lyve Remix)

The next joint is from my Chicago homie, Add-2.  I was talking to Add last week about a song were working on together and he was telling me about a joint he was getting ready to drop called Nicole Brown Simpson.  I already knew the song would be dope just from the title.  Nicole Brown Simpson started hitting websites on Monday and the title definitely fits the song because well, Add-2 MURDERED the track.  Check out my homie Add-2′s new joint here.  Also, go find a copy of Add-2′s mixtape, Tale of Two’s City.  It is real dope.
