In preparation for my upcoming Mixtape “Reform School” mixed by world renowned Dj Wristpect scheduled for a February release, here is some new video work I call “Vietkwam” The title comes from my African name “Kwame” and the everyday war I articulate in the lyrics using Vietnam as a metaphor for it. Do not cheat yourself and watch the video in anything less than HD Quality. Enjoy!
More music from another one of my guys. This time my dude, Tona drops a record for the new year, inspired by a Mike Schpitz line. Say WHAT? See if you can guess the song? Tona gets Torae and Eternia for a track called Happy New Year, produced by my dude Lyve. Look for a Lyve X Mike Schpitz/Grumpy Old Men collab coming soon. What up Lyve? Check out Happy New Year below and shout out to Canada!

The Canadian homie, Tona, League representer, just dropped a brand new video for his joint, We Do, which is produced by Rich Kidd. SICK video. Both of these cats are gearing up to have a big year. Watch out. Last week, I saw Rich Kidd’s video, Don’t Sleep On Me, and it is sick too. Canada has some really dope shit, hopefully stateside can catch on, beside Drake. Stay tuned for more updates about Tona’s new project, Silverspring Crescent.
Check out Rich Kidd’s video, Don’t Sleep On Me below too.

It has been a good year for my homie and League representer, Tona. He dropped his acclaimed album, Direct Deposit with Lyve. He has been getting a lot of love and wants to keep it going into the new year with a “new/old” joint that didn’t make the cut for Direct Deposit. Keep Talking featuring hip hop group, Tanya Morgan, who have also been having a great year. Listen to Keep Talking and download the DJ Pack below which includes the dirty and clean version and the instrumental. If case you forgot how sick Tona was, Check out Major, Fast Pace and Dial Tone.
It’s been a while since I have shared any new music from my homie, Tona. He hit me last week with a new track called No More featuring Adam Bomb, produced by Rich Kid. Be on the lookout for more Tona soon. I know he has been working hard and staying busy so stay tuned.
I got blessed with new music from The League of OG’s Canadian cohort, Tona. He sent me his new joint, I Got U featuring Lokz and Rich Kidd. I Got U is a tribute to his city, Toronto, despite all of it’s problems. I think everyone can relate. I know I struggle with both of my homes, Topeka and Chicago having similar problems but home is home. Be on the lookout for more music from Tona and another collab with yours truly.

Today is another big day for me as I drop the 2nd remix from Sunday Drive featuring The League of Ordinary Gentlemen. This time, Tona and Adullessence join me on the remix for the Tribe remake, Sucka MCs. Both The Get Up Remix and Sucka MCs are important songs for me because they are the first songs that I have released featuring a crew of cats that I work with and know on a personal basis. It is also important for my hometown to show how far the music has reached and the quality of people that I have been blessed to work with and know. Everyone knows that Adullessence and I have been working together since 06, so it is also important for me to get Les, Add-2 and Tona on the same songs as well. I hope everyone enjoys the Sucka MCs Remix and stays tuned for the Itunes version of Sunday Drive. I have put it on Tunecore and it said Sunday Drive will go live by November 8th. I thought that I could pick the date but apparently not. Oh well. Also, in two weeks, I am releasing the video for Sucka MCs directed by Tori Boyd with a cameo from Phys Ed and Tori. I look forward to hearing everyone’s feedback.
