Grumpy Old Men “America” Official Music Video

Hopefully everyone knows about and has listened to me and Pete Sayke’s debut album, Sunday Skool.  The feedback has been awesome so, hopefully the word continues to spread.  To help with the promo, Pete Sayke and myself just released the first visuals to accompany the album.  Just like the first leak, America is the first video from Sunday Skool.  It was shot and directed by Schedule One and Co.  DJBooth.net just premiered the video today and it should be hitting the rest of the net here soon.  We appreciate any and all feedback so, without further ado, Grumpy Old Men present America.  Shout out to my dude Ta-Ku on the beat!

Mike Schpitz

I wanted to give everyone a little Friday afternoon, Mike Schpitz update.  As you all know(hopefully), I dropped my debut album, Sunday Drive with Phys Edison on May 26th.  Since then, I have released the music video for New World.  All of the feedback has been incredible and I really appreciate everyone for downloading, listening, posting and sharing the music.  It means a lot to me and Phys Edison.  As far as Sunday Drive goes, were are doing a video for Sucks MCs which should be out sometime in July.  Phys Ed and I have been pondering the idea of releasing Sunday Drive: The Instrumentals and Sunday Drive: The Samples.  We will have to see if we can make that happen for all the producers and beatnicks.  Also expect remixes to Sucka MCs and The Get Up featuring The League of OG’s.  This week was the first time Phys Ed and I got back together and worked on music since we finished Sunday Drive and let me tell you.  We already got 4 songs written/partially written and Phys Ed has been pumping out beats like Kobe was dropping buckets on the Magic.  We don’t have a title for the project right now.  We are just focused on how we want the production to sound and making dope records with a similiar feel.  If you enjoyed Sunday Drive, the next album will be crazy.  Also, I am almost finished recording and mixing the last couple joints for the Love Potion Number 9th re-released called The Hangover.  As of now, the mixtape will have 16 joints, 8 from the original Love Potion and 8 others.  All songs are produced by 9th Wonder.  There might be a couple more joints if I can get my hands on some of Wale/9th Wonder’s instrumentals but as of now, 16 is the final number of songs.  My second album, Have You Seen My Stapler? is very close to being done.  I gotta record a few more records with SLOT-A and a couple more records with The Gift but that is coming soon too.  I have also started recording music with Rob Bates and plan on working with Lyve, QB Da Problem, Nascent, Quest, King Sampson,Ta-Ku and of course The League of OGs too.  Expect LOTS of music this year.  I might even drop a few more Mike Murder joints.  Anyways, today is Friday.  Enjoy your afternoon with one of my favorite Bob Marley songs, Work.  It is the perfect way to end the week.
