A nice video from Kanye for Monster. Makes me like the song even more. Sorry for the poor quality, here is a link to a high quality version too.

Although, I was a little disappointed with T.I.’s album, tracks like I’m Back, Yea You Know and Pledge Allegiance To The Swag are SERIOUS records. I wish the whole album sounded like that shit. Fortunately, Tip dropped a video for Pledge Allegiance To The Swag recently. T.I. is still one of the greatest at making straight anthems. Enjoy.
Eminem has officially broken the 2.5 million mark. I think triple platinum is definitely in his future. Drizzy Drake did another 18K while Ricky Ross moves 13,000. Check the top

A few new releases this week hit the charts. Atmosphere does 9,400, Young Buck does 6,400 and the “Ice Cream Paint Job” man, Durrough does 5,500. Oh yea and both of Eminem’s are still on the charts. CRAZY. Hopefully Black Milk can move at least 5,000. I tried to find it at Best Buy and Target but it was no where to be found. Shame.
It seems like I have been a day late and a dollar short in the last several weeks but I’m trying to keep up. Nothing crazy happened in the last week with sales. Eminem is stuck on top. Drake is one week from going platinum. Ricky Ross is well over 300K. Same ish, different week on the charts. Check the top.

The best album of 2010, Big Boi, is approaching 150K. I wonder what those numbers would be like if it was an Outkast album. Regardless, Big Boi is hitting the road for the Sir Lucious Left Foot tour this fall. Make sure you see him live. Bun B moved another 11,000 copies of his “5 Mic Classic”, Trill OG. And the KC native, Tech N9ne sold 2,400 copies this past week of his collab project. Stay tuned for more updates….
This week spelled double platinum for Eminem, who is back at number one moving, 133K this week. Ricky Rozay moved another 30K sitting at number 7. Mike Posner dropped his debut album and is sitting right below Rosssssss at number 8 moving 29K. And the Trill OG, Bun B moved another 17K in his second week. Check the top

Big Boi moved another 8K, despite having the best album of 2009, he can’t quite manage to do legendary numbers. Damn shame. The Roots and Damian Marley are still moving a few units as well. So far the best albums of the year go, 1. Big Boi, 2. The Roots, 3. Damian Marley and Nas. The Roots and Damian Marley and Nas are pretty much tied for 2nd in my opinion. Until next week…..
Eminem is still proving why is the man since the release of his album, Relapse. He moved another 187,000 this week and is sitting strong at number one. The bawssssssssssse, Ricky Ross came in at number two moving 177K with his new album, Teflon Don. Drizzy Drake is moving closer to a millie sitting at number four moving another 47,000 this week. I’ve been marinating on Rick Ross’ new album, Teflon Don for about a week. After having several discussions about Ross, his albums, his sound and his whole persona, I came to the conclusion that Ross’ new album, Teflon Don is pretty solid, for a Rick Ross album. I think it is definitely his best work today. The whole project fits pretty nicely together except the HORRIBLE, Diddy and Trey Songz assisted track, Number One. I’m not even sure why that song was ever made let alone put on the album. Having said that, I can ride to most of the album. It is a nice balance of street and soul. I think the most surprising aspect of Teflon Don are the features. He managed to pull together one of the most star studded casts on a single album. Of course artists like Jay-Z, Drake, Kanye West and Gucci Mane make the album but more surprising are Erykah Badu, Cee Lo, Chrisette Michelle and Raphael Saadiq. These artists add an element of credibility to Rick Ross’ music that the normal rap guest features can’t really bring. Of course, I’m not saying that Drake, Kanye and Jay don’t bring credibility but those aren’t surprising features for a rap album, especially someone like Rick Ross. I think Ross is starting to separate himself from the regular rapper by really making an effort to make the music have a soul rather than just drugs, guns, money and women talk. He shows another side of himself with records like All The Money in the World. I was a little surprised to hear that joint. I definitely think Ross is headed in the right direction if he can manage to pull together a few more solid albums. Having said all that, I like the album but I’m still not a Ross fan. Lyrically he has been stepping it up and definitely has his own “thing” but he just doesn’t quite do it for me. My hat is off to Ross though for putting together a solid album. I’ll be checking for his next one for sure. Check out the videos for Super High, BMF(Blowing Money Fast) and Sweet Life which doesn’t make the album.
1. Shout out to Stacy Dash with her beautiful self.
2. Shout out to Styles P
3. I’m not sure if it is a good idea for Rick Ross to keep pissing off drug dealers, first the real Freeway Ricky Ross and now Big Meech. I’m just saying. Check out the album and please share your thoughts.

The last several days are starting to become even more overwhelming with new music STILL dropping. Pill dropped a new mixtape and Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later sprung a leak last night. Hopefully they will all be amazing. Today I am bumping the new Rick Ross, The Albert Anastasia EP, which serves as a prequel to his album, Teflon Don. I don’t know what it is about Rick Ross but I just can’t quite become a fan. His last album had some dope cuts but I still just can’t find it in me to give him any type of credit. Now with Diddy as his “manager” and him becoming to new Biggie(HAHAHAHAHAHA), Ross is set up to become one of the biggest stars out. Hopefully Teflon Don will be better than The Albert Anastasia EP because this project gets one listen from me and a quick toss out the window. Sorry Ross but I need to hear something more from you. I’m sure the album will have some bangers though. Let’s see if Diddy’s involvement makes this project one of 2010′s best. Oh yea, for all of you unfamiliar with the REAL Albert Anastasia, he was a mob boss and head of the Gambino Crime Family and original Murder Inc. Here is the man the FAKE Rick Ross is comparing himself too.
At least Stacy Dash made it into his video, Super High.

There has been a slew of videos hitting the net in anticipation for one of the most hyped albums of the year, The Clipse Til The Casket Drops and yesterday the video for my favorite leak from the album, Popular Demand featuring Cam’ron came out. So what I figured I would do is post all 5 video leaks thus far with their new video for Popular Demand at the top because this joint is truly my theme song of the year. Ya’ll better go out and BUY Til The Casket Drops. I don’t wanna see anything less than 80K first week numbers or I will personally be insulted.
When is the last time you have see 5 videos drop before an artist’s album???????? The Clipse are going very, very hard and I love it. I hope they do videos for everyone song.
The Clipse album artwork dropped yesterday and seemed to receive nothing but negative comments. I’m going to have to agree about this artwork though. I love almost everything The Clipse touch and Kaws is a dope ass artist but this shit could have been WAY better. Having said that, I wonder if it’s even the real thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if some doper shit came out. Regardless, I’m copping this album the DAY it comes out even after I get it on bootleg. I have seen The Clipse rock live twice and they are incredible live and their music is just plain good. Pusha is one of the most underrated emcees out and Malice is the shit too. Not only did the artwork leak yesterday but their joint, Door Man leaked too and it is FIRE. Download Door Man right here(courtesy of 2dopeboyz) and peep the I’m Good Remix video featuring Ricky Ross. Here is the track list as well.
