Today’s theme music is actually Friday’s “Classic Shit” but because I am a slacker I’m killing two birds with one stone. I went in a different direction for this week’s Classic and ventured into the Grunge world with the late great, Curt Cobain and Nirvana’s breakout album, Nevermind. I am sure everyone remembers the video for Smells Like Teen Spirit. It pretty much dominated MTV and radio for a while. I was on the way to the studio last thursday night and put in an old rock mix CD I made several years back and figured I would listen to Nirvana’s classic album, Nevermind. I know a handful of the songs on the album but don’t remember the whole album. I must say, not being a big rock fan or having any real knowledge about rock music, I definitely enjoyed Nevermind. It brought me back to the early 90′s when I was kid. I’m going to start listening to more classic albums from other genres for Classic Shit Fridays so stay tuned for that.
