Pusha T is still on fire, this time with a video for the Nottz produced joint, “Open Your Eyes.” Fear of God is out now and is still a problem. Lyrically Pusha kills this record and the video does a great job of driving the song home. Check it out. Shout out to Malice in the video. We need another Clipse album.

Travis Barker feat. Clipse “Come N Get It” Music Video
A little visual love for Travis Barker’s joint, Come N Get It featuring one of my favorite groups, Clipse. Pusha sounds tired as hell on this song but it’s fresh. Check out Come N Get It below. Travis Barker’s mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid, Let The Drummer Get Wicked is out now and you can download it below too.

Clipse “Life Change” Music Video
One of my favorite albums of 2009, Til The Casket Drops, is still catching some buzz with a new video for Life Change featuring Pharrell and Kenna. Pusha T has been destroying shit lately while Malice has a book and some vlogs he has been dropping. Check out Life Change and if you don’t have Til The Casket Drops, go buy it now. Hopefully that Pusha solo album is on it’s way soon.
Weekly Numbers 1/20/2010
January is half over and the numbers keep “rolling” in. Only one, “noteworthy” album dropped last week. Omarion’s Ollusion came out and it was clear that NOBODY cared. Well, 19,000 people cared. I have been having an internal struggle because a part of me really wants to hear the album but I feel like I already know it’s gonna be horrible. Ack Right or whatever his single is, is kind of dope I guess. Anyway, it’s amazing that Black Eyed Peas are STILL moving more units that most people. Alicia Keys is still creeping towards platinum status, Mary J. Blige is still doing pretty well and Young Money is sticking around. Here is the top.
| Rank | Artist | Album | This Week | Est. Total |
| 5 | Alicia Keys | Element of Freedom |
48,000 | 889,000 |
| 7 | Mary J Blige | Stronger (With Every Tear) |
35,000 | 475,000 |
| 10 | Black Eyed Peas | The E.N.D. |
32,000 | 1,855,00 |
| 13 | Rihanna | Rated R |
24,000 | 550,000 |
| 18 | Young Money | We Are Young Money |
21,000 | 23o,000 |
And for the bottom.
| Rank | Artist | Album | This Week | Est. Total |
| 19 | Omarion | Ollusion |
19,000 | 19,000 |
| 23 | Eminem | Relapse | 17,000 | 1,777,000 |
| 26 | Jay-Z | Blueprint 3 |
15,000 | 1,549,000 |

7,300 | 365,000 |
| 163 | Clipse | Til The Casket Drops |
2,900 | 62,000 |
I’m not sure why people aren’t rushing out to by Clipse album but are STILL supporting Blueprint 3. Wait, dumb statement. Teenage girls aren’t bumping the Clipse like that. Oh well. Stay tuned until next week. Hopefully Omarion can move a few more units before he gets dropped again.
Late Night With The Roots
A few days ago, I got my hands on a mixtape compiled of some of the highlights from The Roots performances on Jimmy Fallon Late Night. Everyone knows by now that The Roots are the house band for Jimmy Fallon and have performed lives with artists like Raekwon, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, Clipse, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Public Enemy, Ghostface, etc….Some savvy person put together a mixtape of some of these performances. Although this is not an official Roots project, it is still the shit. Some of the sound quality isn’t perfect but it stills sounds really dope. I have been posting several of these live performances in the past and now it is only fair I post the whole mixtape. I have considered trying to post everyone of these videos but that might take too long. If I get a free hour at home, I might just do that but in the meantime, download the mixtape Late Night With The Roots and enjoy some ill, live music from (insert artist name) featuring The Roots. Take notice to Black Though ripping several of these performances.

Clipse X The Roots Live on Jimmy Fallon
Jimmy Fallon is finding a way to bring some of the illest artists together for some amazing live performances. I think it probably has more to do with The Roots than Jimmy Fallon but regardless, shit is iLL!!!!!! This time The Roots back up the Clipse while they perform Popular Demand and the classic Grindin’. Black Thought even drops heat on BOTH joints. I don’t know if this makes any one else excited about hip hop but I’m GEEKED.
Weekly Numbers 12/31/2009
For my last post of 2009, I wanted to share the weekly numbers with everyone. Christmas seemed to be very helpful to a lot of artist’s sales including Eminem, Alicia Keys and Black Eyed Peas. New releases like Mary J Blige and Young Money’s We Are Young Money made strong debuts as well. Here is the top.

29,000 | 334,000 |
| 171 | Clipse | Til The Casket Drops |
8,400 | 51,000 |
Despite dropping one of the best albums of the year, the Clipse are still not moving units like they should. Gucci Mane’s sales are a little disappointing,” if you look at how many times his shit is played on the radio. 50 Cent looks like he probably won’t break gold either. I wonder how people are feeling about 2009 and what the future will hold???? Stayed tuned for next weeks sales. Happy Holidays to all. See you next year.
Weekly Numbers 12/16/2009
I almost forgot to comment on the weekly numbers today. Today is the end one of the biggest weeks of the year for hip hop because the Clipse dropped their 3rd album, Til The Casket Drops. People were estimating that the Clipse were only going to move a measly 30K in their first week. Well, those numbers were correct. Clipse dropped one of the best albums of the year but only managed to sell just over 30K. I don’t know WTF is wrong with people because they also dropped 3 of the best songs of the year before the album even dropped. Another “shocker” to some might be Gucci Mane’s numbers. He moved 90K in his first week, which if you ask me is terrible considering he RUNS the radio. If labels haven’t been scrambling, they should be now. Hits don’t mean record sales unless your Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem or Lil Wayne. It’s a sad day for real. Regardless, I still encourage everyone to go out and BUY Clipse album because it is worth the money. Gucci’s on the other hand, maybe just google The State Vs. Radric Davis mediafire. That should do. Chris Brown pulled in Rihanna numbers with just over 100K, Snoop moved just under 60K and Timbaland FAILED with 40K. Check the top.
| Rank | Artist | Album | This Week | Est. Total |
| 7 | Chris Brown | Graffiti |
102,000 | 102,000 |
| 10 | Gucci Mane | The State Vs. Radric Davis |
90,000 | 90,000 |
| 12 | Michael Jackson’s | This Is It |
83,000 | 1,048,000 |
| 20 | The Black Eyed Peas | E.N.D. | 63,000 | 1,554,000 |
| 21 | Snoop Dogg | Malice N Wonderland |
59,000 | 59,000 |
And the bottom
| Rank | Artist | Album | This Week | Est. Total |
| 32 | Timbaland | Shock Value 2 |
39,000 | 40,000 |
| 41 | Clipse | Til The Casket Drops |
31,000 | 32,000 |
| 57 | 50 Cent | Before I Self Destruct |
23,000 | 279,000 |
| 65 | B.G. | Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood | 19,000 | 19,000 |
| 135 | Juvenile | Cocky N’ Confident | 8,200 | 31,000 |
For having absolutely no promotion, BG’s album almost hit 20K. 50 looks like he will never reach platinum and Michael Jackson is STILL the man. Stay tuned for next weeks numbers.
