Statik Selektah featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Freddie Gibbs “Play The Game” Music Video

Man Statik Selektah is that dude right now.  This video hits home because it was filmed at A3C.  It was an incredible experience to be a part of a festival like this with artists like K.R.I.T., Gibbs, Elzhi, Big Daddy Kane, 9th Wonder, M.O.P. and Dead Prez.  I like the joint and this video a lot.  Shout out to Statik, K.R.I.T. and Gibbs.

Ludacris featuring Big K.R.I.T. “I’m On Fire”

I can’t say I was expecting much from Luda after My Chick Bad but clearly he can still make awesome records.  I really only checked this because of Big K.R.I.T., who I am going to see tomorrow at Congress Theatre in Chicago.  Everything about this song is dope! Shout out to Mike Will on the beat.  Apparently he made Tupac Back too. Luda’s tape 1.21 Gigawatts is supposed to drop on November 15th.

The Roots featuring Big K.R.I.T. “Make My”

You read that correctly.  The Roots and Big K.R.I.T. linked up for the first single from The Roots upcoming album, undun.  ?uestlove had some interesting words to say about this album so, check that out below and listen to Make My.  This should be an awesome album.  As if The Roots ever disappoint.  I can’t wait for the Undun tour!

“‘undun’ is the story of this kid who becomes criminal, but he wasn’t born criminal,” says drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson in a press release. “He’s not the nouveau exotic primitive bug-eyed gunrunner like Tupac’s character Bishop in “Juice”… he’s actually thoughtful and is neither victim nor hero. Just some kid who begins to order his world in a way that makes the most sense to him at a given moment… At the end of the day… isn’t that what we all do?”

BET Cyphers 2011

Man, glad lyrics are being brought to the mainstream.  Shout out to the whole Shady family and of course, Big KRIT and Kendrick.  Glad to see Tech N9ne getting shine too! Everyone kinda killed their verses.  Now if BET and MTV would put some music back on TV.

Man Em is out of control! I wanna hear that new album with Dre.

Big K.R.I.T. “Money On The Floor” featuring 8 Ball, MJG and 2 Chainz
