Another sick track from Add-2, who will be performing with Black Thought on April 1st in Chicago, called Chicago Blues. Add-2 is doing some incredible things this year. Stay tuned for more updates.

I got a nice joint from two of my guys, Add-2 and I’m Trumaine. You might remember my joint, Gimme That, from the Stanley Ipkiss EP, that Trumaine produced. Here he links up with Add-2 for Add’s new joint, Shots Fire. Add decided to let loose of this track in support of his video, Dream Girl, getting airplay on MTVU. Listen and download Shots Fire below and check out Add’s video for Dream Girl, in case you missed it.

For my first release of the year, I recently got some footage from Dakota Harper of a performance featuring Dave Coresh, Add-2 and myself. Dave Coresh graciously brought Add-2 and myself on stage at the Mac Miller show at Reggie’s Rock Club to close out his set with our song, Three Headed Monster. It was a packed house and perfect crowd to perform Three Headed Monster for. The whole night was real cool. Dakota captured the performance and recently put it online so, I wanted to share it with everyone. You might recall, Three Headed Monster being featured on Dave’s project, Formal Introduction as well as my recently EP, Stanley Ipkiss: Year of the Nice Guy. Check out the video and download the audio of Three Headed Monster below. Shout out to Rob Bates for the production, Classick for recording and mixing the record and SLOT-A who loses his mind on the intro/outro. Happy New Year.

Add-2 has had a busy few months from performing with The Roots to dropping Better Days to recording with 9th Wonder. He is keeping up the hardwork with his new video, Dream Girl, directed by Da Visionaryz and produced by SLOT-A. Add has been getting a lot of love for this joint so check it out. If you haven’t already downloaded his new tape, Better Days, do it here as well.

I dropped a couple joints from Add-2′s new project, Tale Of Two’s City Volume 4: Better Days, to get every geared up for the full project. Well the project dropped on Friday and has been getting lots of incredible feedback. Hopefully you already got the project but if not, download it here. 2010 was a big year for Add and I guarantee that 2011 will be even bigger. Congrats to Add-2 for another dope project. I got an email from emcee, Add-2, a few days ago and after hearing his new joint, The Menace’s Theme Part 2 during a session with SLOT-A, I was like “damn, so that’s what it’s like.” Add-2 goes bananas on this joint. He is gearing up to release his new project, Tale of Two’s City: Better Days, which will be due out October 22nd. Stay tuned for more updates and in the meantime, enjoy The Menace’s Theme Part 2.
The homie, Add-2, just dropped a new joint last week titled, Come On. He is currently wrapping up the last few songs for his new project, Tale Of Two’s City Vol. 4: Better Days. You can be guaranteed that Volume 4 will have A LOT of heat on it and have some big names on it too. Add-2 has been making a lot of noise in the last few years and 2011 is going to be HUGE. I guessing XXL Freshman of the Year by 2012. Listen and download Come On, which is produced by D-Man. Stayed tuned for more updates.

Happy Friday to everyone. Like I said, this has been a big week for a lot of the artists that I know and fortunately for me, I have been a part of several really dope projects. I posted the homie, Dave Coresh’s video for Keep It Moving a little while ago, so I wanted to share his whole project, Formal Introduction Mixtape. The tape features 15 cuts, some originals, some industry beats. My guys Rob Bates, Maja 7th and Ill Brown all have production on the project and myself and Add-2 are featured on a track called Three Headed Monster, which is produced by Rob Bates. Dave really shows his ass on this tape(no homo). Every track bangs and Dave proves that he is a very talented lyricist. He does a nice job of incorporating bars, punchlines, patterns and humor into every track. It takes a lot for me to really listen to emcees because I get bored pretty easily but Dave never misses a beat. Shout out to everyone that was a part of this project, Dave, Love Ra, Chuck L.I., Classick, Rob Bates, Maja 7th, Ill Brown, DJ Tay James and everyone else I forgot the mention. Download Formal Introduction below and check the track list.
First off, I want to shout a few cats out for this post. The homie, Dave Coresh is a young cat in Chicago, who I have had the chance to work with and kick it with several times. He has nothing released nothing but heat so far and is preparing to drop his mixtape, Formal Introduction, which will definitely be dope. He just dropped his video for Keep It Moving produced by The League’s own, Rob Bates. The video was directed and shot by Roper and put together by my guy, Tori Boyd. The video came together very nicely. Definitely be on the look out for Dave’s new project, Formal Introduction which features a joint with me and Add-2 produced by Rob Bates.
