Once again, Erykah Badu’s album, New Amerykah: Return of the Ankh is amazing and she just dropped a video “Out My Mind, Just In Time.” She still amazes me.

Frostwire and Frostclick present Mike Schpitz “Spring Cleaning”
I know it seems like I just dropped my mixtape, The Prize Package Volume 1 but I got the opportunity to link with Frostwire and Frostclick to do an exclusive mixtape for their site and their torrent downloading program. If you recall, back in 2009, Frostwire and Frostclick featured my debut album, Sunday Drive and it received A LOT of love and over 81,000 downloads. So, when they asked me about doing an exclusive project, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and had to show the love back. This time, I put together a mixtape called Spring Cleaning, which features 19 tracks of old and new material from each of my projects since Sunday Drive. I have songs from Love Potion Number 9th, Mike Murder, Stanley Ipkiss, The Prize Package Volume 1, Sunday Skool with Pete Sayke and Have You Seen My Stapler? with SLOT-A. It is basically a history lesson about my music and has some new, unheard stuff. Spring Cleaning went live yesterday so, go over to Frostwire and Frostclick to download it. The link is below as well as the track list and a snippet of the post on Frostclick.com
Spring Cleaning is Mike Schpitz latest project, a 19 song compilation of his favorite best songs and one on which Mike and the FrostClick Team have been working together for the past month to bring to you today.
We hope you enjoy it and share it with all your friends, this is truly good hip-hop and we feel very proud to be the ones to to have the opportunity to share with you this exclusive release from Mike Schpitz (aka LoveJones).
In this opportunity we are lucky enough to have a letter from Mike himself to let you know more in detail the background and behind the scenes of Spring Cleaning.
Kendrick Lamar “HiiiPoWeR” Music Video
All I gotta say is, Kendrick Lamar is incredible. One of my favorite artists period.
Shout out to J. Cole on the beat.

Chicago emcees, Simeon Viltz and Race, better known as The Primeridian, dropped their new project, Da Crack A Dawn via DJBooth.net, RubyHornet, The Hip Hop Project, Jugrnaut and All Natural Inc. Da Crack A Dawn features 28 joints of good ass hip hop. Make sure you download it below. Also check out their video, Drop The Needle below. Shout out to Simeon and Race. They will be rocking at Morseland, in Chicago on June 4th.
Big Boi “The Crown Life” Short Film
Crown Royal Black and Big Boi just dropped a short film called The Crown Life in support of Big Boi’s recent partnership with Crown Royal Black. The film takes you behind the scenes with Big Boi in the studio, on the street, on photoshoots, etc. It’s pretty cool to see some behind the scenes footage of Big Boi in his day to day life. Check it out.
Random Axe “The Hex’ Music Video
One of my favorite producer/emcees, Black Milk is getting ready to put out a project with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson under the name Random Axe. I think you know that shit sounds kinda seriously. They just dropped a video for a track called The Hex. Dope record and dope video. Check it out below and stay tuned for more updates.
Pusha T “Blow” Music Video
More video love from Pusha T from his mixtape, Fear of God. This time he drops a video for Blow. If you recall seeing Pusha and Kanye on Funk Flex rapping, these bars should sound familiar. I actually like hearing them acapella a little better but heat none the less. Fear of God is out now so go get it. Check out Blow below as well as Pusha and Kanye on Funk Flex.
Elzhi “eLmatic”
Today is a beautiful day and one I have been looking forward to for a long time. Chicago was beautiful today, my son is officially one month old and some other big changes are coming my way soon but another one of the exciting happenings today is the release of Elzhi’s new project, the long awaited eLmatic. I have been craving some new Elzhi ever since the Leftovers mixtape. Everyone should know by now the El is one of my favorite emcees of all time so, eLmatic is a wish come true. Elzhi, Nas’ illmatic and a live band can only spell one thing, CLASSIC. Anyway, no more talk, I’ll let the music speak for itself. Shout out to Elzhi and Will Sessions for an incredible project. It’s Elzhi’s time, no denying that. Check out the track list and download eLmatic below.

Pusha T “Open Your Eyes” Music
Pusha T is still on fire, this time with a video for the Nottz produced joint, “Open Your Eyes.” Fear of God is out now and is still a problem. Lyrically Pusha kills this record and the video does a great job of driving the song home. Check it out. Shout out to Malice in the video. We need another Clipse album.
Elzhi “Halftime” Music Video
I’m telling everyone, if you don’t already know, Elzhi’s eLmatic project is about to be serious. Put these things together, Elzhi, Nas’ illmatic, live instruments=a problem. He just dropped a video for Halftime so, check it out. Bars like crazy. Big shout out to Elzhi.
Oh yea and if you haven’t heard Detroit State of Mind and Verbal Intercourse Part 2, check them out too.
