Sorry for the evening post but I wanted to update everyone with some weekly numbers before the night was up. Sade and Jaheim held tight up top. Black Eyed Peas are STILL “selling out” of the stores and Miss Keys is holding on strong too. Check the top

Freeway and Jake One dropped their album, The Stimulus Package under the Rhymesayers imprint and failed to bring hope back to hip hop fans. Mathematics, who is a Wu-Tang affiliate also dropped an album, Return of the Wu & Friends and moved 3,4oo. I have higher hopes for the Raekwon, Method Man and Ghostface album, Wu-Masscre as well as Little Brother’s final album, Leftback. I guess I’ll wait until they drop. Shout out to Sade for coming back very strong. Until next week…..

It really sucks album sales don’t match the quality of albums. Freeway’s album was on point. Not nearly enough promotion. I look forward to the Rae, Meth & Ghost album but I fear its gonna tank too. I bet Royce does better with his mixtape than these numbers.
