It’s a pretty gloomy dayin Chicago so I figured, what better way to brighten up the mood then with some classic De La Soul, The Bizness featuring Common Sense, that’s Common for all you newbies. This is actually one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time. I absolutely love the beat, verses and hooks. I used to play this joint steadily in high school and every time I hear it, I listen to it several times in a row. Common even goes in on homosexual swimmer, Greg Louganis. Seems a little harsh for Common. Let’s not forget Common’s The Bitch in Yoo though. De La’s catalog is rather thick and this is just one of the MANY classic joints they got. It might be a De La weekend for me. If your in Chicago, find shelter and play some classic shit all day.
