I’m starting to feel like groundhog day. Another beautiful day at the beach, yesterday was amazing. I tried clam chowder for the first time and loved it. I also had some crab cakes, lobster mash potatoes and calamari. Needless to say, yesterday was amazing. I finally got a chance to listen to the majority of Slaughterhouse’s new album. I want to listen to it several more times but so far it sounds pretty dope. Definitely the way Slaughterhouse needed to come out. I am always nervous about projects like this because usually the beat selections and the hooks are horrible but Slaughterhouse managed to balance four talented emcees and choose dope beats. My favorite joint so far is Salute with Pharoahe Monch. Pharoahe kills the hook and of course Slaughterhouse brings it. The track is produced by StreetRunner who produces a few tracks on the album. Make sure you buy the Slaughterhouse album when it drops but check it out in the meantime. Who is your favorite emcee in Slaughterhouse??? Do you think Slaughterhouse will drop a sophomore album???

Really? I though this album was pretty mehh. Not bad, but definitely not living up to the meteoric expectations
The album isn’t a classic but HELLA quotables and some dope beats. Royce and Crooked are worth the price of admission alone. definitely not a disappointment
